Hvilke rengøringsmetoder er de rigtige for dig ud fra et hygiejnemæssigt synspunkt?

Erfaring fra rengøring i sundhedsvæsenet viser, at der kan opnås væsentlige forbedringer i hygiejnen ved at indføre korrekte rengøringsmetoder (fx forud klargjorte, en moppe/klud pr. lokale/område).

Udgangspunktet er at forstå stedets risikoniveau:
  • Højrisiko: Hoteller, barer, restauranter, fitnesscentre, lufthavne. Store mængder af besøgende, ofte fra flere lande og besøg, selvom man er syg.
  • Mellemrisiko: Undervisning, kontorer. Lavere antal besøgende, halvoffentligt og derfor nemmere at kontrollere.
Det er også vigtigt at forstå de primære typer af rengøringsmetoder, der anvendes af professionelt rengøringspersonale, da det ikke er alle metoder, der fungerer overalt og i alle situationer:

  • Høj: Meget lav risiko for krydssmitte
  • Ren klud/moppe anvendes på næste område
  • Ingen spand med central opløsning
  • Mindre eller slet intet overskydende rengøringsmiddel, mindre risiko for at danne biofilm 
  • Flere rene klude/mopper placeres i spand og vædes med rengøringsopløsning eller kun koldt vand
  • Hver klud/moppe anvendes kun til rengøring af et område og lægges derefter til vask
  • Ren klud/moppe anvendes til rengøring af næste område.
Spray
  • Medium: middelrisiko for krydssmitte
  • Sprayflaske sikrer, at snavs ikke frigives i rengøringsopløsning, der anvendes på næste område
  • Sprayflaske/-dåse kan blive forurenet ved tømning og påfyldning
  • Ofte anvendes samme klud/moppe på mange områder og overfører forurenende stoffer mellem områderne.
  • Klud/moppe eller overflade sprayet direkte med opløsning
  • Overfladen aftørres
  • Næste område sprayes og aftørres
  • Klud/moppe anvendes som regel flere gange på forskellige områder (men kan være ren klud/moppe pr. lokale).

Spand/Spand & vrider

  • Lavt: Størst risiko for krydssmitte
  • Samme klud/moppe anvendes på mange områder og overfører forurenende stoffer mellem områderne
  • Snavs fra kluden/moppen frigives i spanden og forurener rengøringsopløsningen.
  • Hink med rengöringslösning förbereds.
  • Duken/moppen doppas i lösningen och vrids ur.
  • Duken/moppen används för att rengöra ytan och läggs tillbaka i hinken.
  • Duken/moppen används flera gånger på olika ytor.

  • Cloth/mop is dipped into solution and wrung out
  • Cloth/mop is used to clean surface and returned to bucket
  • Cloth/mop used many times in different areas
  • Low: Strongest risk of cross contaminating
  • Same cloth/mop used in many areas, passing contaminants between areas
  • Dirt released from cloth/mop after use into bucket contaminating cleaning solution
  • Spray
  • Cloth/mop or surface directly sprayed with solution
  • Surface wiped clean
  • Next area sprayed and wiped clean
  • Cloth/mop mostly used many times in different areas (but can be clean cloth/mop per room)
  • Medium: intermediate risk of cross contamination
  • Spray bottle ensures no dirt released into cleaning solution used in next area
  • Spray bottle/canister can become contaminated when emptying and refilling
  • Often same cloth/mop used in many areas, passing contaminants between areas
  • Pre- Prepared, washable

  • Multiple clean cloths/mops placed into bucket and dosed with cleaning solution or only cold water
  • Each cloth/mop used to clean one area and then put into laundry
  • A clean cloth/mop used to clean the next area
  • High: Very low risk of cross contamination
  • A clean cloth/mop used in each area
